If you’re looking to grow with an innovative company where you can make an impact within a supportive, collaborative, and flexible work environment, we’re the place for you!This Is What You’ll DoIn your new position, you will direct the successful execution of a project portfolio, with a focus in health security and possible crossover with other sectors (e.g., emergency management). Senior Associates empower project managers and their teams to build strong client relationships while delivering quality products that meet the clients’ needs on time and on budget. You will also collaborate with the Executive Leadership Team and Business Development Team to cultivate the company’s direction, strategy, and client relationships in the health security space. Examples of other contributions include:Oversee the execution of a project portfolio, including Federal, SLTT, or private sector planning, training, exercise, or staffing of varying complexity and scopeServe in various project roles, as needed, including project manager or subject-matter expertLead facilitation for internally and externally facing planning meetings or eventsManage and mentor team members, setting clear expectations while providing and soliciting frequent, candid, and Serve as an interface for subcontractors and partners related to your portfolioProactively support business development through client relationship management-building deeper connections with the communities they serve, helping anticipate their needs, and teeing up new workContribute ideas, insights and intelligence to leadership, including participation in strategy and solutioning sessions Delegate projects and tasks effectivelyIdentify resources needed and assign individual responsibilitiesTrack and analyze utilization on projects, profitability, margins, and bill rates; and maintain a high utilization rate individually Be familiar with contracts, scope, and requirements under your purview Keep project budgets up to date and ensure timely submittal of invoicesProvide review and final approval for all deliverables and disseminate to the clientUphold CONSTANT QA/QC standards and practices on project workIdentify and mitigate risks in the project executionCommunicate regular status updates to the client and to your internal project team as well as the Project SponsorQualifications and SkillsRequiredBachelor’s degree (preferably in Public Health, Emergency Management) or equivalent experience10+ years of consulting and/or professional service delivery experience5+ years of experience directly managing a staffRecognized expertise and professional network in public health emergency preparedness, response, and/or recovery. Demonstrated success managing projects, programs, and/or portfolios, including directing budgets, mitigating risk, assigning resources, organizing priorities, and effectively delegating tasks and projects to achieve resultsDirect experience writing and developing plans, training, and/or exercises related to public health emergencies. Excellent communication, writing, and facilitation skillsDetail and process-orientedProficiency in MS 365 suiteS. CitizenAbility to travel approximately 20%Ability to pass Federal background investigationsPreferredMaster’s degree in Business, Emergency Management, Public Health, National Security or a related field3+ years of progressive experience providing consulting services to private and/or public-sector clients. Experience in second-level supervision (managing people who manage people) Familiarity with Federal, corporate, and/or SLTT public health and emergency management entities and standards.
