Here are a few of the ways you will support CONSTANT’s continued growth:Analyze Requests for Information (RFIs), Requests for Quotes (RFQs), and Requests for Proposal (RFPs) to identify proposal requirementsUtilize CONSTANT templates and style guides to produce highly customized, compliant, accurate, and winning proposals tailored for federal, state, local, and private-sector clients.Contribute to proposal management activities, such as maintaining proposal calendars, refining the content library, tracking opportunities.Address solicitation requirements, developing initial content using past proposal examples, editing and refining content from multiple sources, writing new content based on research and discussions with operations team members, and finalizing submittal packages.Contribute to action captions using a variety of software and templates while adhering to solicitation requirements.Utilize online forecast and RFP portals to track business opportunities.Understand and convey complex customer requirements on both a business and technical level.Have a solid understand of government procurement processes and regulations.Participate as part of the Business Development Team to understand strategic goals, develop win themes and key differentiators, and make decisions on submission strategies.Draft and submit questions to clarify all proposal requirements for submission.Raise critical issues and recommend alternative solutions to proposal development hurdles.Demonstrate superior technical writing abilities, adhering to our standards for accuracy, consistency, and clarity.Organize narratives, graphics, and proposal resources.Perform proofreading and editing, as needed.Manage multiple tasks under different deadlines.Ensure CONSTANT’s standards for integrity, service, team, quality, and gratitude are upheldQualifications, Skills, and Characteristics RequiredDemonstrated expertise with government proposal writing and the RFP processMinimum of +3 years of experience with proposal writing in one or more of the following areas: commercial, government, and/or consultingBachelor’s degree in English, Communications, Journalism, or a related fieldDemonstrated skills working with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and ExcelStrong written and verbal communications skills. High degree of professionalism, diplomacy, problem-solving and decision-making skillsProven ability and desire to work as a member of a high-functioning collaborative team, including a willingness to lean in and do what it takes to get the job done, while also working independently and achieving goalsU.S. citizenPreferredExperience with federal proposal writing and the federal RFP/procurement processIdeal candidate is familiar with the fields of emergency management, health security, and homeland security, or related field, but not required.Experience utilizing industry tools such as FedBizOps/SAM, GovWin, procurement portals (i.e., Periscope, Public Purchase, BidNet, etc.), and CRMs (i.e., Salesforce, Zoho, HubSpot, etc.).Completion of a master’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.Familiarity with APMP proposal development best practices.Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign proficiency.Experience using Power Automate or Power BI.Experience administering a SharePoint site or platform.Location, Compensation and BenefitsLocation: Remote.
