Disaster Volunteer Planning

Over the past several years, emergency planners at all levels of government have begun to recognize and act upon the need for integrated, structured utilization of volunteers as part of a comprehensive approach to emergency preparedness and management.  Numerous volunteer pools and organizations can be made available to provide assistance and much needed services if called upon.  C&A’s experience with a multitude of disaster volunteer organizations has helped clients to identify ways to leverage the support and expertise provided by volunteers, while creating an environment that promotes and maintains a managed, organized setting for volunteers.
