Adam Giessman is a DoD SkillBridge Intern at Constant Associates with almost twenty years of Active Duty Air Force experience. He has spent thirteen years in Air Force Emergency Management and six years as a Network Administrator. His specialties include planning, process improvement, risk assessment, training and exercise programming, incident management, after-action analysis, CBRN response operations, geographic Information Systems (GIS) administration, Common Operational Picture (COP) management, IT Helpdesk, and Network Administration.
In 2007, Adam transitioned from a career in Air Force Network Administration to Air Force Emergency Management. Since, he has managed many emergency and disaster operations affecting Military installations worldwide. Adam has worked closely with local, state, federal, and non-governmental organizations to develop their organizational and disaster management capabilities. He has recently spent two years working at Joint Base Andrews, where he managed preparedness for the Installation Emergency Management CBRN response team, where he led several response operations and focused on process improvement and government procurement.
Adam graduated from Liberty University with a bachelor’s degree in Interdisciplinary Studies that focuses on Disaster Management, Information Technology, and Business. He is currently pursuing his Masters in Public Administration (MPA) – Disaster Management from Liberty University.
