Kristen Baird is a Crisis & Disaster Management Analyst at Constant Associates with ten years of progressive experience in public health epidemiology, emergency management, and health disparities research. Her specialties include vulnerable populations planning, resource-low emergency response and recovery management, post-disaster infectious disease, and whole community engagement.
Prior to joining CONSTANT, Kristen worked to advance emergency management and public health preparedness at the local, county, state, and tribal levels working in a number of communities across the United States such as Arizona, Washington, and Florida. Kristen is a Type III Liaison Officer and has deployed for over 22 emergency activations in the United States including the US Virgin Islands post-hurricanes Irma and Maria. She has also applied her technical skills and academic knowledge working internationally with USAID in 2008 assisting in humanitarian efforts helping to strengthen resilience and invest in the empowerment of women and girls in countries affected by crisis and conflict in Sudan.
Kristen earned a Master of Public Health in 2010 from Tulane University, School of Public Health and Tropical Medicine.
