If you are looking to grow with an innovative team where you can make an immediate impact with a supportive, collaborative, and flexible work environment-we’re the place for you!This Is What You’ll DoAs a Contracts Specialist, you will be an integral part of our very successful Finance and Contracts team and will be responsible for tracking and organizing all client contracts and subcontracts. Here are a few of the ways you will support CONSTANT’s continued growth:Establishes and maintains an organized filing system and works with internal stakeholders to ensure appropriate access to contracts by team members. Maintains templates for non-disclosure agreements, teaming agreements, and subcontract agreements in accordance with business needs and company policy.Ensures the proper clauses are flowed down to all subcontracts. Maintains a thorough understanding of contractual requirements, communicates those requirements to the Project Manager and relevant internal stakeholders. Collaborates with those stakeholders to ensure successful contract setup, execution, and compliance. Facilitates contract modifications with the government and subcontractors and updates the Unanet accounting system accordingly. Issues subcontract modifications using Unanet. Completes company representations and certifications and maintains those records. Collects Insurance Certifications from subcontractors and ascertain compliance to contract requirements. Establishes and maintains excellent internal and external customer relations at all levels of the organization, acting as liaison for all proposal or contract matters, communicating status of open contract matters frequently with project managers, technical staff, finance and leadership. Actively contributes to the success of CONSTANT by completing special projects as may be assigned. Assist with internal compliance initiatives via research and data collection for contract-related documents as directed. Additional duties as assigned. Qualifications, Skills, and CharacteristicsRequired4+ years of experience in the GovCon (Government Contracting) Industry in a contracts specialist/management role BA/BS Degree or equivalent experienceUS Citizenship Must have experience with all contract types, a working knowledge of the FAR/DFAR, and a solid working knowledge of and experience with Federal acquisition practices. Ability to recognize, interpret and apply applicable regulations to resolve proposal and contract issues Knowledge of and experience with standard word-processing, database, spreadsheet programs and integrated software applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint among others)Excellent organization, prioritization and problem-solving skills Initiative and persistence, with ability to meet deadlinesStrong attention to detail and the ability to multi-task in a dynamic, fast-paced environment Preferred Prior experience using Unanet is a plus, but not requiredPrior experience with State and Local contracts is a plus, but not required Location, Compensation and BenefitsLocation: Remote.
