This week, CONSTANT is promoting National CPR and AED Awareness Week. Each year, more than 350,000 cases of cardiac arrest occur – making it one of the leading causes of death in this country amongst all populations. With a high possibility of this occurring in our surroundings, it is important to be equipped with the skill and willingness to help save lives. Learning this life-saving skill can be crucial to helping your close ones and community.
About 70 percent of out-of-hospital cardiac arrests happen in homes. Now more than ever, it’s important to learn Hands-Only CPR, as many people are staying at home and working from home during the COVID-19 pandemic.
