If you’re looking to grow with an innovative company where you can make an impact and want a supportive, collaborative, and flexible work environment – we’re the place for you!This Is What You’ll DoIn your new position, you will contribute to the successful execution of projects in the emergency management arena by serving as a Project Manager, Deputy Project Manager, Writer, Trainer or Exercise Designer. You will strive to build strong client relationships while delivering quality products that meet the clients’ needs on time and on budget. Most importantly, every CONSTANT team member is expected to proactively contribute to our positive, team-oriented culture and uphold our core values of integrity, service, quality, team, and gratitudeAs an Associate on our team, you will proactively ensure that the team, resources, budget, quality standards, schedule, and structure are in place and maintained for an effective project.Examples of other contributions include:Serve as the day-to-day, main client liaison for the ProjectLead facilitation (with support from the project team where appropriate) for all internal and external-facing project-related planning meetings or eventsDelegate project tasks and assignments effectivelyIdentifies resources needed and assigns individual responsibilitiesTracks and analyzes utilization on each project, profitability, margins, and bill ratesBe familiar with each contract, scope, and all of their requirementsKeep the budget spreadsheet up to date and ensure timely submittal of invoicesProvide review and final approval for all deliverables and disseminate to the clientUphold CONSTANT QA/QC standards and practices on all project workIdentifies and mitigates any risks in the project executionManage 1099 contract agreements where applicableCommunicate regular status updates to the client and to your internal project team as well as the Project SponsorIdentify opportunities for repeat business or future Business Development (BD) work and communicate to the Practice Leads and/or BD teamMentor project team members (and especially DPMs) and provide routine feedbackQualifications and SkillsRequiredBachelor’s degree (preferably in Public Health, Emergency Management) or equivalent experience5+ years of consulting and/or professional service delivery experienceIdeal candidate will have experience in one or more of CONSTANT’s service areas: Healthcare Preparedness, Counterterrorism, Health Security or Emergency ManagementDemonstrated success as a project manager, including managing budgetsDirect experience writing and developing plans, training, and/or exercises related to public health emergencies.Excellent communication, writing, and facilitation skillsDetail and process-orientedTeam-oriented, collaborativeProficiency in MS 365 suiteS. CitizenAbility to travel approximately 20%Ability to pass Federal background investigationsPreferredBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Emergency Management, Public Health, National Security or related fieldEmergency Management/Preparedness industry experienceExperience with writing and/or editing emergency management planning documents (i.e. EOPs, HMPs, CPG101, etc.)Experience with using FEMA’s Hazards-United States (HAZUS) analysis toolExperience providing consulting services to private and/or public-sector clientsFamiliarity with Federal, corporate, and/or SLTT public health and emergency management entities and standards.
